Yellowstone... end of July

My wife and I have taken the plunge and committed to a major vacation this summer. We're going to spend 4-5 days in Yellowstone at the end of July. Which means big-time road trip.

We brain-stormed a list of places we might want to see on the way up or back. The major list (obviously, we can't do all of these for several reasons) looked something like this:

• The Very Large Array
• White Sands
• Roswell, NM
• The Grand Canyon
• Arches NP
  
• Zion NP
• Bryce Canyon
• The Black Hills
• Rocky Mountain NP
• Pikes Peak
• McDonald Observatory
• The Grand Tetons

Hey, you have to start somewhere. Now to begin planning and see what sites and adventures make the final cut.
